As part of the construction of the Guarini Justice Complex in Jersey City, named for former Hudson County Congressman Frank Guarini, the county has announced that, effective Thursday, February 18, Terminal Construction Corporation will be permanently removing Hoboken Avenue from the street grid between Central and Oakland Avenues.

All vehicular and pedestrian traffic can detour northbound or southbound via Central Avenue.  There will be parking restrictions posted and enforced by local police on Hoboken Avenue.  Parking will be permitted nearby along the west side of the new, Central Avenue roadway and Oakland Avenue.

Anyone having questions with regard to the construction project may call the County Division of Engineering, Traffic and Transportation.  The hone number is (201) 547-4411.
