Secaucus, NJ – The Secaucus Police Department has been active in addressing various incidents in the area, resulting in several arrests and ongoing investigations. From February 26, 2024, to March 3, 2024, the department responded to and resolved multiple cases.

On February 26, at 3:54 PM, a report of a theft of a license plate at 248 Secaucus Road led to the arrest of 36-year-old Nelson Figueroa from the Bronx, NY. Figueroa was charged with Theft and Disorderly Conduct and later released from police custody pending further proceedings.

In a separate incident on February 28, at 12:20 PM, 27-year-old Victor Vasquez from Lodi, NJ, was arrested for Theft of Property Lost or Mislaid and Unlawful Use of a Credit Card. The arrest was part of an ongoing investigation into a theft that occurred on January 5, 2024, at 485 Harmon Meadow Boulevard. Vasquez was released from police custody after being issued a complaint summons.

Another arrest was made on February 29, at 1:29 AM, when 66-year-old Richard Santoro from Elmwood Park, NJ, was taken into custody for multiple outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ, and Newark, NJ. Santoro was transported to the Hudson County Jail after being unable to post bail.

On March 1, at 3:21 PM, Secaucus Police responded to a shoplifting report at Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive. 42-year-old Siraba Keita from the Bronx, NY, was arrested for Shoplifting, Hindering Apprehension by Providing False Information, Theft of Identity, and Possession of False Government Documents. Keita was released from police custody after being issued a complaint summons.
