Albio Sires, who is retiring from the U.S. House of Representatives. The Communications Workers of America (CWA), in a statement, said, “We are excited to endorse Rob Menendez in this important fight for our state, our nation and the values that matter to our members and their families,” said Fran Ehret, CWA NJ State Director.
“I am thankful and humbled to have the support of the hard-working men and women of the Communications Workers of America,” said Menendez. “CWA has been a stalwart advocate for working families, fighting for living wages and good benefits, and I look forward to championing our shared agenda and priorities in Congress.”
Menendez, an attorney and the son of New Jersey’s senior Senator. Bob Menendez, has the support of the Hudson County Democratic Organization. He faces a primary election challenge in June to secure the Democratic nomination against Union City Progressive Democrat Ricardo Rojas.
