A drunk driver hit a traffic signal pole in Bayonne on Tuesday night causing it to crash to the ground.
According to Police Captain Eric Amato, the incident took place just after 8 o’clock in the area of Route 440 and Pulaski Street. 59-year old Larry B. Robinson of Rutgers Avenue in Jersey City was arrested on a DWI charge after his vehicle crashed into the traffic signal post.
Robinson was transported to the Bayonne Medical Center where he was treated for a head injury.
