The Borough of East Newark is holding a toy drive to help bring some holiday cheer for local children in need. Hosted by Mayor Dina Grilo and the municipal council, residents are asked to donate new, unwrapped toys for children between the ages of 1 and 13.
You can drop off your toy at East Newark Borough Hall, located at 34 Sherman Avenue, until December 13th during normal business hours.
All of the toys received will be distributed during the annual, Santa’s Workshop. If you’d like to volunteer your time to help with this effort, you can call (973) 481-2902. You may also send an email to info@boroughofeastnewark.com.
