In an effort to continue assisting local businesses, both restaurants and retailers, North Bergen Mayor Nicholas Sacco and the Board of Commissioners has announced round 2 of its highly successful, Eat & Shop Local Program. It all continues the weekend of September 11th through the 13th along Broadway between 72nd and 78th Streets. From 3 until 10 p.m. the street will be shut to traffic so businesses can expand into the street.
Next weekend, Bergenline Avenue will be hosting Eat & Shop Local between 76th and 82nd Streets from September 18th through the 21st. On Saturday, September 19th, the annual Classic Car Show will be a part of the festivities from 79th to 85th Streets. The Car Show is Freeholder Chairman Anthony Vainieri’s baby.
Finally, the weekend of September 25th to 27th will feature Eat & Shop Local along Bergenline Avenue from 70th to 76th Streets.
Township officials remind everyone attending to wear masks and observe social distancing guidelines.
