The Hudson County School of Technology’s Explore Middle School in Jersey City is the only middle school in New Jersey to have a HOSA chapter. The students in the club are gaining valuable insight into health and medical careers at an early age.
The club is student-led, meets once a week, and is preparing to compete in a state leadership conference. If they do well, they will advance to the international competition. HOSA is an international club, with chapters in Korea, Canada, and elsewhere.
