The first winner of the North Bergen Free Public Library’s 2020 Census drawing has been announced, and the lucky resident is Alan Lemmon! His name was picked at random on May 15, so he will receive a $500 gift card – simply for filling out the census online.
But the contest’s not over yet – the first round was so popular that the library has decided to run a second drawing. Everyone has a chance to win valuable prizes, including another $500 gift card. The second drawing will take place when the 2020 Census closes later this year.
Enter soon, though. This time there will be lots of other prizes given out over the coming weeks to randomly selected winners. The sooner you enter, the more prizes you have a chance to win.
To enter your name in the drawing, simply fill out your census online and send your confirmation number or a screenshot to firstname.lastname@example.org.
It’s quick and easy to participate. The 2020 Census questionnaire will take about 10 minutes to complete. It’s safe, secure, and confidential. Your information and privacy are protected. Visit the U.S. Census Bureau’s YouTube page for instructional videos in various languages explaining how easy it is to participate.
And remember, by entering the drawing you are helping to shape North Bergen’s future. Your responses determine how much federal funding is allocated to the township for critical public services like healthcare, schools, roads, and other resources.
