Renowned Flamenco guitarist Pedro Cortes returned to the Weehawken waterfront on Wednesday night as part of the Hudson Riverfront Performing Arts Center’s Summer Concerts on the Hudson series. Held in Lincoln Harbor Park overlooking the Manhattan skyline, the Flamenco Night concert was A Tribute to the Gipsy Kings.
Among those joining Cortes for an evening of outstanding music and dance were the Cintron Brothers, known for their knowledge of Rumba Flamenco; Jose Moreno, a multi-talented percussionist, dancer, singer and choreographer; and dancer Elizabet Torras, who has performed throughout Europe and Asia.
