The Hudson County Board of Chosen Freeholders have approved a traffic control signal on a portion of Willow Avenue in the City of Hoboken.
The traffic control signal will be installed on the county-owned roadway, in accordance with the New Jersey Department of Transportation standards in order to protect the traveling public. The signal, lane use designation pavement markings, signs and a ‘No Right Turn” sign will be placed on a portion of Willow Avenue at 16th Street.
A County press release stated, “Freeholder Chairman Anthony Vainieri, Freeholder Anthony Romano and the members of the Board of Freeholders are committed to providing the necessary resources needed to reduce traffic congestion, control and lower speed on the roadway to protect the traveling public in the City of Hoboken and Hudson County.”
