On a gloomy day of rain, the town of Guttenberg was able to keep a happy Easter Spirit with their annual Easter event. The event is usually taken place outside, however the weather conditions would not stop the town from putting a smile on the children’s faces. The Easter event would be held at the Gerald Drasheff Community Center. In attendance was town Mayor Wayne Zitt, Councilman John Habermann, and Councilwoman Monica Fendora. It was clear that the intent of this event was to bring joy, but also to give back to the people of the town in doing so.
Inside of the Gerald Drasheff Community Center, large amounts of clothes would be donated to any residents of Guttenberg. This would include sweaters, shirts, and more for the people of the town. The event would also include pictures with the Easter bunny, and each child was given a chocolate bunny with each picture. In conclusion, Guttenberg’s Annual Easter event was a big success for the town. For all families in Guttenberg, it is certainly an event you do not want to miss this time next year…
