Outside of Town Hall, Guttenberg celebrated National Night Out starting at 6 on Tuesday evening in collaboration with the police department, serving free food and beverages as the band Finish This performed.
In addition, more than 2 dozen attendees of the event signed up for and received covid-19 vaccinations on the spot courtesy of the North Hudson Community Action Corporation.
The “National Night Out” campaign was started in 1984 and has been held annually since; the goal of the campaign is to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood comradery.
