On Sunday evening, the town of Guttenberg held a concert on Boulevard East, in celebration of the 4th of July holiday. Woodrow Wilson and The Smooth Band Orchestra came to town for the residents’ entertainment of the evening. Plenty of seating options were available, with food stands along the street.
This is the beginning of Guttenberg’s Summer Concert Series, with the last one finishing on September 18th in the same location on 71st and Boulevard East. Town Mayor Wayne Zitt highlighted the importance of not only celebrating Independence Day, but the world’s return to normal events and activities such as this. A far cry from last year’s celebration, which was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic..
