In a Facebook post shortly past 7:15 this evening, the Harrison Police Department announced the passing of one of their own, Police Officer Elizabeth Delacruz.
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Police Officer Elizabeth Delacruz #980. Officer Delacruz served in the United States Marine Corp, a Harrison Police Officer, and a devoted mother. She served her country and her community with pride and passion. Her bright smile and contagious laugh will be deeply missed. Rest in the sweetest peace Officer Delacruz and watch over us all.
There is no word at this time as to the cause of Officer Delacruz’s passing.
