The Hudson County Schools of Technology has a variety of adult school programs throughout the district. One of the courses is cosmetology. The program is housed at Jersey City’s Earl W. Byrd Center.
Six students are enrolled in the adult cosmetology program this semester. Approximately 70 students are enrolled in all of the adult courses offered by HCST.

Being in Jersey City also affords the students, many of whom are looking to change careers, a wide network of opportunities on both sides of the Hudson River.
Classes for the various vocations offered are held throughout the HCST District, in Jersey City, Secaucus, Bayonne and Harrison.
