HCST Cuts Ribbons Opening Two Career Development Centers

Ribbons were cut opening Career Development Centers at both high schools within the Hudson County Schools of Technology’s district on Tuesday.  The centers will help students prepare for college or the work force by providing resume writing assistance, lnterviewing techniques and a whole lot more.

Importantly, students in all four grade levels from freshman to the senior class will have the ability to get needed advice and instruction as they prepare for their post-high school years, whether it be heading on to college or entering the work force.

Both Career Development Centers, one inside High Tech High School at the Frank J. Gargiulo Campus in Secaucus and the other inside of County Prep High School at the Earl Byrd Center in Jersey City, will operate during lunch periods and after school, giving students plenty of time to take advantage of the assistance they offer.
