Great news out of the Hudson County School of Technology’s Dance and Choreography Department at High Tech High School’s Frank J. Gargiulo campus in Secaucus. The school will be performing their show Through My Eyes: An Investigation of Identity, on May 18th and 19th at 7 pm. The unique aspect of the show is that it was directed by the senior dance majors, and two pieces from the show received awards at the Hudson County Teen Arts Festival on April 17.
Senior Naomi Bayas received Top Honors for her trio, “The End of a Beginning”, featuring herself and dancers Alissa Colon and Leila Faringthon. Juniors and seniors also received a Judges Award for their piece “The Search.”
The show will be performed for the public on May 18th and 19th at 7 pm in High Tech High School’s Mainstage Theatre.
