High Tech High School Students Showcase Their CTE Projects

On Thursday at High Tech High School in Secaucus, students from the Hudson County Schools of Technology Design and Fabrication Academy showcased their semesters’ work in numerous disciplines; everything from robotics to computers to architecture.  It’s all a part of CTE, Careers in Technical Education.

It was a chance for students in one discipline to see the works of fellow students from different disciplines.

The CTE Showcase is a yearly event for the vocational school district, allowing students to experience the fields of study open to them as they move on to college and ultimately their professional careers.

The corn hole boards you see in this photo, which are reminiscent of a carnival game, were made in collaboration with students from County Prep High School in Jersey City.  They will be sold at the Hudson County Schools of Technology Foundation fundraiser taking place later in March.
