Hit & Run Accident Seriously Injures Pedestrian on Jersey City’s Lincoln Highway Bridge

HUDSON COUNTY REGIONAL COLLISION INVESTIGATION UNIT INVESTIGATING HIT AND RUN THAT SERIOUSLY INJURED 39-YEAR-OLD MAN

Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez has released the following information:

The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit is investigating a hit and run incident in which a 39-year-old Jersey City man was struck and seriously injured while walking on the Lincoln Highway Bridge northbound lane in Jersey City late Saturday night. The driver who struck him fled the scene.

Members of the Jersey Police Department responded to the area around 11 p.m. on reports of a pedestrian struck with serious injuries. The victim was transported to the Jersey City Medical Center, where he is listed in critical but stable condition.

The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and Jersey City Police Department are actively investigating this incident.
