Hoboken Community Meeting on Final Design For 800 Monroe Resiliency Park is Tuesday

Tuesday, November 21st is the date Hoboken has selected to host a community meeting on the final draft concept design for the the 800 Monroe Resiliency Park.  The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the Multi-Service Center, located at 124 Grand Street.

Public feedback on the final draft concept design for the City’s fourth resiliency park will be gathered during the meeting.  Project consultant AECOM developed the design based upon public input collected through previous community meetings and survey responses.

800 Monroe Resiliency Park will provide residents with public open space and mitigate area flooding caused by heavy rainfall events. The park will bolster the City’s resiliency efforts, becoming the City’s fourth resiliency park following the Northwest Resiliency Park, 7th & Jackson Resiliency Park, and Southwest Resiliency Park that together will detain over 3 million gallons of stormwater once construction is completed.
