Hoboken police are asking the public for tips and video after a hit-and-run early Saturday left a 39-year-old Hoboken woman with serious injuries at 15th and Hudson streets.
According to a Hoboken Police Department graphic posted Monday, officers responded about 12:55 a.m. on Oct. 3, 2026, to reports of a hit-and-run at that intersection. An initial investigation found the woman was crossing 15th Street when a dark-colored SUV struck her. The driver then fled west on 15th Street, police said.
The Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps treated her at the scene and took her to a local hospital. Police said she sustained serious injuries, is in stable condition, and is expected to survive.
HPD’s Traffic and Transportation Bureau and Detective Bureau are leading the investigation. In the same release, the department said it “strongly encourages the operator of the vehicle involved to turn themselves in, or any passengers to contact the Hoboken Police Department.”
Anyone with information or video is asked to contact Det. Sgt. William Collins at CollinsW@hobokenpdnj.gov, Sgt. Francisco Rosa at RosaF@hobokenpdnj.gov, or call 201-420-2100.
