What happened Sept. 30

In a written statement on the morning of Sept. 30, Hoboken police said detectives were investigating reports of multiple shots fired around 2 a.m. in the parking lot of the Walgreens at 1300 Willow Ave., near 13th Street. At that time, the department said there were no reports of injuries or victims. Hudson TV reported the investigation that day.

What police have not said

Thursday’s announcement did not say whether anyone was hurt or targeted, what led to the shooting, whether Edwards is being held at the Hudson County Correctional Facility, or when he is due in court. It also did not list the specific weapons charges. Hudson TV will update this story when more official information is released.

Hudson TV asks: Three weeks after shots were fired outside the Walgreens on Willow Avenue, do you feel safe on that block late at night, or should Hoboken add lighting or cameras around 13th and Willow?
