Hoboken Police Arrest Man For DWI, Driving Wrong Direction on One Way Street

45-year old Hunssaisensoshitsu Munozcastro of Roselle Park, New Jersey was arrested on Saturday morning by Hoboken Police for DWI, as well as numerous other violations.  He was spotted driving the wrong way on a one way street according to Detective Lieutenant Danilo Cabrera.  The incident happened around 1:29 near 100 Monroe Street.

in addition to the DWI, Munozcastro was also charged with refusal to submit to a breath test and driving the wrong direction, plus failure to exhibit an insurance card and vehicle registration.

According to Cabrera, officers observed a grey Hyundai traveling the wrong direction in the area of 1st and Monroe Street.  A motor vehicle stop was conducted.  After approaching the driver, officers observed Munozcastro was intoxicated.  As a result, Munozcastro was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing.

At headquarters, Munozcastro did not provide a breath sample and therefore was charged with refusal to submit to breath testing.  Munozcastro was released on his own 12 hours from his arrest time.

The defendant is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
