Incident Details: Officers Francolino and Lombardi were dispatched to the area of 14th Park Avenue on a report of Kings Staff members following a shoplifter. The defendant was stopped a few blocks away. The defendant had taken (7) bags of tide pods for a total value of approximately $132.32. A search of his person found him to have 2 empty wax folds commonly used to package CDS Heroin. He was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing. His charges were placed on a warrant and he was later remanded to the Hudson County Rehabilitation Center.

Incident Details: Officers Cuevas and Calderon were dispatched to the area of 9th Madison Street on a report of a shoplifter. Loss Prevention Officer from ShopRite was with the defendant who had shoplifted a bouquet of flowers and several packs of men’s underwear and shirts valued at approximately $51.00. The defendant paid for several items while concealing the others. She was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters for processing where she received a summons to appear in court.

Charges: Shoplifting Poss of CDS Paraphernalia

Officers Involved: PIO Jason Montalvo, Sgt Cesar Olavarria

Incident Details: While on patrol, Officer Montalvo and Sgt. Olavarria were dispatched to 59 Washington Street on a report of a Shoplifter at CVS Pharmacy. CVS Staff advised officers they had a shoplifter who had taken several bottles of lotion valued at approximately $49.00 dollars. A search of the arrestee found her to be in possession a glass cylindrical pipe commonly used to smoke CDS Crack cocaine. She was transported to headquarters for processing and later transported to the Hudson County Rehabilitation Center.
