Advisory: Snow Update: COVID-19 Testing, Street Sweeping Suspended Wednesday, Discounted Garage Parking Extended

Below is an update on the snow storm:

COVID-19 testing

Prompt MD: COVID-19 testing with Prompt MD at 605 Jackson Street has been postponed for Tuesday, February 2. Residents currently with appointments for Monday or Tuesday have the option of showing up at the same scheduled time on Thursday or Friday at 605 Jackson Street, or rescheduling an appointment on the Solv system for Thursday or Friday at Prompt MD is not scheduled to provide testing at 605 Jackson Street on Wednesday.

Riverside: COVID-19 testing with Riverside Medical Group at 351 16th Street (Bijou Properties site) will operate on a delayed opening on Tuesday, February 2 to 10:30 am. Riverside has reached out to most residents with appointments prior to 10:30 am to reschedule. Appointments can also be rescheduled with Riverside at

Street sweeping suspended through end of day Wednesday

Street sweeping is now suspended on Tuesday, February 2 and Wednesday, February 3. An announcement about street sweeping for Thursday and Friday will be made by Wednesday.

Discounted garage parking extended through 4 pm Wednesday

The special rate of $5 per 24-hour period in Garages B (28 2nd Street) and D (215 Hudson Street) is now extended for residents currently parked in the garages with valid Resident On-Street Parking Permit or Temporary Parking Permits through 4 pm Wednesday, February 3. Regular rates will apply at all other times.

Recycling pickup suspended Monday night

As a reminder, recycling pickup is suspended for Monday night.

Emergency snow routes remain in effect

Parking is prohibited on emergency snow routes, which will remain in effect overnight and through the end of the storm. The City will provide notification via Nixle, Facebook and Twitter on when emergency snow routes are no longer in effect.
