HCST Rehearses For Tuesday Dinner / Theater Performance of Homecoming

Students attending the Hudson County Schools of Technology’s Performing Arts Academy at the Frank J. Gargiulo Campus have been rehearsing for weeks for this coming Tuesday night’s, one night dinner / theater performance of Homecoming.  The fall performance will present the best of Broadway.

In addition to the current students enrolled in the program, Tuesday’s show will welcome back and feature alumni from the Hudson County School’s Secaucus campus who have gone on to professional careers on Broadway and elsewhere.  John Zisa, the Director of the Musical Theater Department at the Frank J. Gargiulo campus, says being exposed to the former students is an invaluable resource for the current members of the Department.

Among the songs being performed in the show are Beautiful Morning.  There will be ensemble performances as well as solo acts.  Dinner will be served at 5 pm, prepared by students in the HCST’s Culinary Arts Program.  The show will get under way at 7 pm.

Tickets are still available, but going fast.  To purchase tickets for the November 22nd event on the Frank Gargiulo campus in Secaucus, go online to www.msbtickets.com/frankjgargiulocampus/schoolevents.  Tickets cost $35.  All proceeds will benefit the High Tech High School Musical Theater spring musical.
