The Hudson County Board of Chosen Freeholders has approved the County’s reprograming of funds from the 2018 and 2019 Hudson County Open Space, Recreation and Historic Preservation Trust Fund. The reprogrammed funds will be used for improvements to Fitzpatrick Park, totaling $411,713.26.
The improvements to Fitzpatrick Park will include the sustainable storm water collection and management system, as well as ADA compliant playgrounds. Francis G. Fitzpatrick Park is located on Ave C adjacent to Bayonne City Hall.
Chairman Anthony Vainieri, Bayonne Freeholder Kenneth Kopacz and the Board of Chosen Freeholders are providing the necessary funding needed to make improvements to parks in each municipality of Hudson County.
