Hudson County Jury Convicts Bayonne’s Jhaitan Snow of Aggravated Sexual Assault on Child Under 13

JERSEY CITY, N.J. — October 10, 2025 — A Hudson County jury convicted 40-year-old Bayonne resident Jhaitan Snow on Thursday of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child, all involving a juvenile victim.The verdict came after a weeklong trial before Superior Court Judge Mitchell Pascual. Snow was found guilty of aggravated sexual assault under N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2a(1), sexual assault under N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2b, and endangering the welfare of a child under N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4a(1).

The crimes took place at a Jersey City residence on various dates between August 2020 and March 2022. The victim was a female under the age of 13 and known to the defendant.

Hudson County Assistant Prosecutor Andrew Baginski represented the state at trial. Acting Hudson County Prosecutor Wayne Mello released the details of the conviction.

Snow faces a minimum sentence of 25 years in New Jersey State Prison and is parole ineligible for 25 years under the Jessica Lunsford Act. Sentencing is tentatively scheduled for January 9, 2026.
