Jersey City – Last Wednesday night, Hudson County Republican Chairman and state GOP Chair of Chairs Jose Arango was honored to have participated in the swearing in of new State GOP Chair Bob Hugin. The chairman also saw our long-serving Committeewoman, Irene Kim-Asbury, re-elected Secretary of the State Party and Frank Miqueli join as our new state Committeeman.
“It was so good to see the future of our Party. Bob Hugin is a Union City native whose military and business accomplishments make his home county proud. He will not only help us elect Governor Ciattarelli but he will build this party up all over the State. Having Irene Kim-Asbury, the first and only Asian-American Committeewoman take a leadership role is a testament to how important she is to the Party. Moreover, Irene led the effort to toughen our Party’s no-tolerance stand on sexual harassment. And Frank Miqueli, our first ever Hispanic State Committeeman, will restore dignity and party loyalty to that seat while bringing real-life campaign and technical experience to the state level. I am proud as County Chair and Chair of Chairs to work with this great team to lead the Republican Party to way more success,” Arango stated.
