Annual residential parking permits for Guttenberg residents expired at the end of September, with a one-month grace period to the end of October, so it’s important to renew your permits for the coming year. The renewal application link is live at http://www.sdlportal.com. The cost is $10, which can be paid online.
The town has improved the process even more by implementing a license plate reader-based system, meaning residents don’t even need to pick up a sticker for their car; once they’ve registered, they’re done, and the Parking Authority will automatically recognize their car.
Beginning Oct. 1, if you don’t have access to the internet or would prefer to register in person, you can come to the Public Safety office in Town Hall during the following hours:
Monday through Saturday: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Wednesday evenings: 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
The deadline for parking registration for the next year is Oct. 31.
