A police investigation is underway in Jersey City after a man was shot near a charter school on Monday morning.
According to Jersey City spokesperson Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione, the man was shot in the area of Bramhall Avenue and Clerk Street, near Dr. Lena Edwards Academic School at approximately 9:30 am on Monday, December 11.
One male victim was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Jersey City Police recovered a handgun at the scene.
