Saying New Jersey deserves a change, Jersey City resident Kyle Jasey, a married father of two young children, has announced he will challenge United States Senator Robert Menendez for his seat in the 2024 Democratic Primary Election.

A local real estate businessman, Jasey is the CEO of Jasey Capitol Group, a real estate lending company.   He did serve as a district leader in South Orange and worked for the unsuccessful, 2009 Corzine re-election campaign   His mother is 27th District, New Jersey Assemblywoman Mila Jasey.

Jasey believes New Jersey needs a Senator who does not have a cloud of ongoing federal investigations hanging over his head.  Having previously faced federal investigation on two occasions, Menendez is currently facing a probe of potential, undisclosed gifts to he and his wife.

Jasey spoke with Hudson TV reporter Jeff Henig, focusing on the high cost of health care and education, along with housing.
