Acting Hudson County Prosecutor Wayne Mello announced on Friday that a 41-year old, Jersey City man has been arrested for groping a young girl. The arrest took place on Thursday, September 18, 2025, as members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit arrested Prince Fullwood after investigating a sex crime involving a juvenile female.
Fullwood has been charged with Sexual Assault by Contact, a crime of the second degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a crime of the third degree. He was taken into custody at his residence and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility in Kearny pending his first court appearance.
According to Mello, the crime occurred on August 31, 2025, inside of a store in the area of Summit and Baldwin Avenues. The 11-year-old female victim reported being groped by an unknown male while she was inside the store.
Mello credited the arrest to the Special Victims Unit with assistance from the Jersey City Police Department. The charges against Fullwood are merely accusations and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
