An investigation is underway this afternoon by the Jersey City Police Department after a 30-year old man was shot at approximately 1:40 pm. According to city spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione, police responded to a call of shots fired in the area of Ocean and Stevens Avenues.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he is listed in stable condition with a gunshot wound in his back.
Sources have told another media outlet that police are searching for a 2009 Nissan Rogue, reportedly stolen, in connection to today’s shooting.
