Man Shot in City of Passaic, Prosecutor Seeks Public’s Help

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Chief Luis A. Guzman have announced that at approximately 6:56 p.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021, members of the Passaic Police Department responded to the area of 4th Street and Passaic Street in Passaic, New Jersey on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival members of the Passaic Police Department located a 23-year old male Paterson resident who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound. The victim was immediately transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment. A potential crime scene was subsequently located in the area.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
