Man's Body Pulled From Passaic River

Photo Credit:  Google Maps                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Frage says the body of an unidentified male was pulled out of the Passaic River at approximately 2 o’clock this afternoon.

The unresponsive body was retrieved near Newark’s Riverfront Park at Raymond Boulevard and Freeman Street.  No further details have been released at this time.

A police investigation is underway.
