Memorial High School's "Memories In Motion" Dances Into West New York's Hearts

The Performing Arts Academy at West New York’s Memorial High School danced its way into the hearts of onlookers with two performances this week, one on Thursday night, the second on Friday night.

Approximately 60 students were involved in the dance performances, including its choreography, as well as the technical production.

The event was called “Memories In Motion.”  Students came from grades 9 through 12, including Estevan Cubibes, the lone male dancer in the showcase.

Dance teacher Emily Marti DiPoto told Hudson TV that many of the students will continue their dancing when they enter college, with some having dreams of dancing professionally.

The rehearsals for “Memories In Motion” began in February.
