Final rehearsals are underway, as students in Memorial High School’s Performing Arts Academy prepare to stage 24  7, later this week.  The advanced acting majors wrote and produced the play, which opens on Thursday.

Production ideas began last summer.  The play has mature themes and language and is not intended for young children.  The students were assisted in their creative writing process by a professional playwright.  All of the students said this creative exercise was intense; sometimes stressful, but the final result is a play they are proud of.

The main theme of the production is that life is ever changing from day to day; and life can be messy.

24  7 will have four performances at Memorial High School.  Thursday, Friday and Saturday, February 8th, 9th and 10th at 7 pm, with a matinee at 2 pm on Saturday.  Tickets are available at the door for $5.
