The Hudson Regional Health Commission will offer a series of monkeypox vaccine clinics this week at the USS Juneau Center, located at 110 Hackensack Avenue in Kearny. Although this is a drive-through site, walk-through patients are also accepted.
The clinic times are as follows:
Wednesday, September 7, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Thursday, September 8, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Friday, September 9, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Saturday, September 10, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
You must be a New Jersey resident to receive a monkeypox vaccine at this site. Eligibility also includes those individuals who may have attended an event where there was a known case of monkeypox in the last 14 days. Other eligible individuals include those who identify as gay, or bisexual, or men who have sex with men (MSM), and/or transgender, gender non-conforming, or gender non-binary, and those who have a history of multiple or anonymous sexual partners within the past 14 days.
