Nearly $4.7 Million in State Funds For Hudson County Senior Citizen Programs

Jersey City – The Hudson County Board of Commissioners recently approved a state grant totaling $4,678,464 from the New Jersey Division of Aging Services to provide various programs and services to seniors in Hudson County.

The purpose of the program is to provide services that include medical care, essential support services and social services programs for senior citizens in Hudson County.

The program is from January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022.

Chairman Anthony Vainieri and the Board of Commissioners are committed to providing a comprehensive and coordinated system of support services for the senior citizens of Hudson County.   These government and community based agencies will ensure that all county senior residents are provided with the best available support services.
