New HCST Community Resource Center Offers Employability Services To County Residents

The Hudson County Schools of Technology’s mission is to prepare students for life after high school so they are employable members of the community.  That’s exactly what the new, Community Resource Center in Union City is designed to do.

Located at 530 48th Street, just off of Kennedy Boulevard on the sixth floor, a block from the Bergenline Avenue light rail station, offers free services for adults who may be transitioning from one career to another, or for those who may be new immigrants to the county.

The Center provides ESL classes, resume writing, interviewing techniques, cover letter instruction, assessment testing and much, much more to prepare citizens for employability.  It is a direct extension of HCST.

The Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 am until 4 pm, and no appointment is needed.  There are even satellite offices located in Bayonne City Hall and the East Newark Borough Hall.  If you’d like further information, you can call (201) 369-5205, option 2.
