A major sewer repair project is taking place weekend along a few Weehawken streets. The township issued the following advisory for residents:
The repairs are being done along Highwood Avenue and Highwood Terrace to a sewer line which runs to Boulevard East. Unfortunately, repairs will be done 24 hours a day intil being completed on Tuesday, August 24 at 6 pm. Several pumps have been installed and the Township apologizes for the noise.
Motorists are asked to abide by all road closures and construction equipment in the affected area.
