The North Bergen school community came together this past Monday, June 15, to celebrate some of its finest educators and educational service professionals, at the annual Governor’s Educator & Educational Services Professional of the Year Awards Luncheon. Honorees are nominated and selected by their fellow educators and colleagues for exemplifying excellence, professionalism, and a steadfast commitment to fostering academic excellence and supporting student success.
Hosted by the North Bergen Board of Education and sponsored by the North Bergen Education Foundation and the North Bergen Federation of Teachers, the luncheon was held at North Bergen High School and brought together administrators, faculty members, union leaders, and family members to recognize the honorees.
“There is no bigger honor than to be chosen by your peers and recognized for the things that you do every day,” said North Bergen Superintendent, Dr. George Solter. “These outstanding professionals represent the very best of our district. Their passion, commitment, and compassion have a lasting impact on our students, and we are proud to celebrate their achievements.”
