NORTH BERGEN, N.J. — The Township of North Bergen announced today that in partnership with North Hudson Community Action Corporation all of the town’s Long Term Care facilities will be 100% tested for COVID-19. The expanded testing will enable township officials and the management at these facilities to make the necessary decisions to protect those that have tested positive and limit the exposure of those who are COVID-19 free.

“We would like to thank North Hudson Community Action Corporation for partnering with us to provide testing kits for our Long Term Care facilities,” said Mayor Nick Sacco. “Those facilities have been hit the hardest in our town by COVID-19. The tests will provide us with a better picture of how widespread the disease is and we can then work closely with the management to determine the best course of action to protect the workers and patients alike at these facilities.”
