North Bergen residents are in for a treat as the North Bergen Recreation Center has announced three free roller-skating nights at the center’s rink, starting from Friday, March 3, 2023.
The free event offers residents the opportunity to take a spin around the rink and enjoy the fun of roller-skating with friends and family. Participants are required to bring their own skates, and limited skates will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The event is expected to be a popular one, and pre-registration is required to attend. Participants are only allowed to register for one session, with a limit of 75 participants per time slot. The sessions for Friday and Saturday are scheduled for 5 to 6 p.m., 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., 8 to 9 p.m., and 9:30 to 10:30 p.m., while Sunday sessions are set for 12 to 1 p.m., 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., 3 to 4 p.m., and 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Registration will be open on Monday, February 27, and Tuesday, February 28, from 2 to 9 p.m., at the Recreation Center, 6300 Meadowview Ave., and the downtown Recreation Center & Library, 1231 Kennedy Blvd., third floor. However, the free event is exclusive to North Bergen residents ONLY.
