North Bergen, NJ – The North Bergen School District has been named to the 10th Annual AP District Honor Roll in the Advanced Placement District Awards, awarded by CollegeBoard, for expanding opportunity and improving performance for AP students. This prestigious recognition is mainly due to North Bergen High School’s AP program and the stellar work of its administrators, teachers and student body.
“The AP program has reached incredible heights under the supervision of AP Coordinator Edward Narucki, the leadership of North Bergen High School principal Richard Locricchio and the relentless work of the teachers” said North Bergen School District Superintendent Dr. George Solter. “Thanks to their vision, strategies emplaced and execution in the classroom, our AP students are able to shine and showcase their skills and interests while receiving college level credits if they score high enough on the AP test, saving on tuition costs down the line.”
North Bergen High School students have a wide range of classes to choose from, ranging from calculus to Spanish, chemistry, biology, environmental science, computer science and even art studio and music theory. The North Bergen School District remains committed to giving North Bergen students the best educational opportunities so they may succeed in the near and distant future.
