There’s good news for North Bergen senior citizens. After more than a year, the township has announced, that beginning on Tuesday, June 1, the North Bergen Senior Nutrition Center at 1441 45th Street will reopen.
The center provides a variety of activities and services for township senior citizens, including free movies, free shopping mall trips, lunch programs, bingo and much, much more. The facility has been shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it will reopen on Tuesday at 9 am.
Mayor Nicholas Sacco will be there at some point to welcome back the township’s cherished generation.
