Passaic Prosecutor & Paterson Police Seek Public’s Help Following Saturday Shooting

SHOOTING IN AREA OF PEARL STREET AND ROSA PARKS BOULEVARD IN PATERSON

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora have announced that at approximately 3:56 a.m. on Saturday, July 10, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Pearl Street and Rosa Parks Boulevard in Paterson on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, police located a potential crime scene and a 26-year-old male Passaic resident who sustained multiple non-fatal gunshot wounds.

The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment. The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
