PPE Vending Machines Installed at Hoboken & Newark Train Stations

The Hoboken train terminal now has a PPE vending machine.  The vending machine company, the first in the country, is RapidMask2Go.  It has also installed a vending machine at Newark Penn Station.

The machines are intended to act as an additional safety measure against the spread of COVID-19 for customers and employees of NJ Transit.  The machines contain masks, hand sanitizer, disposable gloves and sanitized wipes.

Additional vending machines will be installed at other NJ Transit locations in the coming weeks.  NJ Transit President & CEO Kevin Corbett said in a press release, “We want our customers to trust that we have prepared the safest and cleanest transit system possible for their return and will continue to work hard every day to keep it that way.”

The vending machines will only be at the train stations through the end of 2020.
