On Monday, July 11, 2022, 1:30 AM, PSE&G/Kemsco will begin the transformer replacement work. The transformer will be de-energized at 5:00 AM and power is scheduled to be restored at approximately 4:00 PM. This interruption of electric service will affect properties east of Sinatra Drive North at Maxwell Park and Piers 11 – 14; property owners have been notified. No residential customers will be impacted by the outage. Excavation and disposal is scheduled to begin between 5:30 – 6:00 AM and there will be sound associated with construction generated by this work.
New York Waterway Ferry Service at Pier 14 will not be affected by the outage. Ferry service will remain as scheduled. Tickets will be available via the New York Waterway mobile app and cash payment as ticket machines will not be in operation.
MacLaren Engineering will conduct a waterfront engineering inspection during excavation and restoration activities.
